Jim passed away Friday, September 28, 2007. He was an active member of the USS Cablido Crewmembers' Association since attending the 2000 reunion in Branson, MO. Jim was elected Treasurer that year, and served superbly in that capacity until this month. He and Becky hosted our very successful reunion in Charleston, S.C., in 2002. Jim was well loved and will be greatly missed by us all.

Jim's daughter, Angie Locklair, informed us of his passing. More details are in her attached e-mail "Jim Lyon passed away this evening".

Walt Fulps, Jims good friend sent this memorial to Jim for veterans day 2007 "My buddy Moose".
