Dear Mr. Gwin,

I am writing to tell you that my Father, Hershel H. Kaiser, passed away on April, 12, 2010. Hershel often talked about the Cabildo and the fine people he served with on that ship. l thought you and the USS Cabildo Association should know of the passing of another member of the "Greatest Generation".
