| Ken offered a prayer to start the service. The service honored the passing of Elvin “Rudy” Rudasill, MCMM, onboard from 1950 -1955. Rudy passed away March 1, 2022, in Florida. Also honored was Jon Senkpiel, BT1 who served aboard from 1965-1967. Jon passed away on December 8, 2022, in Milton, Delaware | |

| The Board recognized Frank Hulsman, Jr. and his uncle, Ed Hulsman who came to attend the memorial service. They live in the Louisville area and Frank’s father served in the Navy from 1946-1952 and he served on the USS Cabildo. Frank, Sr. passed away in 2005. Frank, Sr.’s brother, Ed, served on the USS Monterey, an aircraft carrier, during the Korean War. | |
