I would like to notify the association of the death of Andrew Maglievaz RD 2. He served aboard the Cabildo from 1962 to 1964. He was taken to the lord by Lukemia, I'm sure this was from the radiation testing near Christmas Island. Everyone aboard the ship at that time needs to know they have rights to radiation exposure if they come down with cancer. We were unaware of this fact until lately. He served proudly aboard the Cabildo, the best Ship he served aboard according to his accounts. He will be deeply missed by all. |
