We were deeply saddened to learn from his wife Connie that Mel passed away Saturday June 19, 2021 at age 89. Paul has been a Cabildo association member since 2005 when he and Connie attended their first reunion in Washington D C, altogether they came to nine Cabildo reunions between 2005 to 2018.

Before he served aboard the Cabildo Mel served as a Hospital Corpsman with a Marine unit in Korea during the Korean War and saw combat action. He once said to me "well, that was really exciting ". I am sure he enjoyed the Cabildo's sickbay much more.

Melvin Quinn was born 4/7/1932 and resided in Pawnee Mission, Kansas with his wife Connie. Mel and Connie also started a very successful electronic equipment business, Aegis Inc. in 1992.
