USS Cole Recovery Operations



USS Cole (DDG-67) Damage sustained on October 12, 2000 resulting from terrorist attack
during refueling stop in Aden, Yeman. Our condolences to the families of the seventeen
sailors who lost their lives and the 35 who were seriously injured.



USS Cole (DDG-67) Being towed on November 16, 2000 from Aden, Amen to deeper water
where she would be loaded onto the Norwegian ship Blue Marlin for transport to Norfolk.
